Originally hailing from Northern California, Greysen Kinsey has a knack for baking. A few years ago wildfires out west forced Kinsey to evacuate and led him to the Heart of the Ozarks, where he spends his days working on his craft at Clara Belle’s Cinnamon Bread shop.
“Before this job, I was a baker for ten years,” said Kinsey. Two of those years I made baked goods and then eight were spent making pizzas and calzones. I had solid experience in baking before coming to The City.”
Kinsey shares that his favorite part of working at Clara Belle’s is demonstrating for guests. “The best thing is showing the kids passing by how we bake through the window,” said Kinsey, smiling. “When we do tricks and you see their eyes widen, like ‘woah!’ and they grin really big. That’s very fun.”
Travelers to The City and locals can stop by to watch the magic of breadmaking through the window at Clara Belle’s Cinnamon Bread. “Any loaf that’s ever been eaten is handmade in the store and anyone can watch it being crafted from start to finish,” said Kinsey. All are welcome to enjoy the tasty craftsmanship of Greysen and his team at Clara Belle’s, located in Rivertown.
